There are two main qualification routes to the ENC Finals.
1. Direct Invitations through the FC Pro World Rankings
A total of 64 players will qualify directly based on the FC Pro World Rankings. The important deadline is July 26, 2026. Only ranking points earned before this date will count towards Direct Invitations.

However, there is one important rule. Every country can only receive one Direct Invitation, even if multiple players are ranked highly enough. For example, if one Kenyan player secures a Direct Invitation, another Kenyan can still qualify through the Regional Qualifiers.
2. Regional Qualifiers
The Regional Qualifiers are open to everyone who meets the eligibility requirements.
The qualification process will take place in two phases:
- July 29 – August 2: Online Ladder
- August 8: Swiss Format Playoffs
- August 9: Double Elimination Playoffs
Players will compete against opponents with similar Skill Ratings during the Online Ladder, with only the best performers advancing to the Playoffs.
Africa Has Six ENC Finals Spots
African players will battle for six qualification places at the ENC Finals through the Regional Qualifiers.

A country can have a maximum of two representatives at the ENC Finals. That can happen in two ways:

No country can send more than two players to the Finals.
Important Requirements Every Kenyan Player Should Know
Before entering the competition, players should prepare early.
Key requirements include:
- Be at least 13 years old.
- Have valid identification documents.
- Prepare a passport in case of qualification for the Finals in Saudi Arabia.
- Players under 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- Provide truthful information throughout the qualification process.
Tournament organizers may request additional documents or verification at any stage of the competition. Players found providing false information risk disqualification and possible suspension from future ENC competitions.
Shon Osimbo Urges Players to Prepare Early
According to Kenyan National Team Manager Shon Osimbo, players should not wait until qualification to begin preparing their documents.
Those without passports are encouraged to begin the application process as early as possible. While the Esports Kenya Federation can provide supporting letters to assist with passport applications, players will still be responsible for paying the required passport fees. Registration details for the Regional Qualifiers will also be shared with Kenyan players once they are officially released by the ENC organizers.
