About Santiago eHub
When people talk about the biggest names in East African EA SPORTS FC, chances are many of them have passed through Santiago eHub at some point in their careers. That isn’t a coincidence.
Founded in 2021 by former gamer Solomon, better known in the community as Soka Suleiman, Santiago eHub was created with one clear mission: make sure talented gamers never miss life-changing opportunities simply because they cannot afford to travel, register for tournaments, or chase international dreams.
Over the years, that vision has transformed the club into one of Kenya’s most recognized esports organizations, with a reputation for developing stars rather than simply signing them.
Today, Santiago eHub continues to compete mainly in EA SPORTS FC, while remaining one of East Africa’s biggest homes for emerging gaming talent.
Home of Future Champions
One thing separates Santiago from many other organizations in Kenya. The club doesn’t simply chase trophies. It builds players. Several of Kenya’s biggest gaming names began their journeys wearing the Santiago jersey before becoming stars on bigger stages.
Among them is Harry Kappa, one of the country’s greatest EA SPORTS FC competitors. Although Kappa’s biggest achievements, including winning the 2025 Betika Esports Showdown, representing Kenya at eBotola in Morocco, and finishing among the top 4 players at the SportsBiz Esports Cup came after leaving Santiago, the club proudly counts him as one of its academy graduates.
The same can be said for Collo Gamer, another product of Santiago’s development system. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the best FC players in East Africa after making his name through several major tournaments.
Former Santiago player Fox In The Box also enjoyed one of the biggest moments of his career while representing the club, finishing fourth at the 2025 Betika Esports Showdown and earning Ksh. 75,000 before later moving back to Horizon. Stories like these have helped Santiago build a reputation as one of Kenya’s true talent factories.
Mcoasty Continues to Lead the Club
Every successful team needs a leader. For Santiago, that player is Mcoasty, also known across the gaming community as Batman. The captain produced one of the biggest moments in the organization’s history by winning the 2024 Betika Esports Showdown, taking home the prestigious Ksh. 500,000 grand prize.
Today, Mcoasty remains Santiago’s most valuable player and the face of the organization.
Santiago Also Believes in Women’s Esports
While many organizations focus almost entirely on men’s competitions, Santiago has consistently invested in female gamers. Current squad members Shah and Tabby continue that tradition.
The club also produced one of Kenya’s most memorable performances in women’s gaming competition when Tinto represented Santiago and finished runner-up in the Afro-Arab League.

Winning trophies is important. Building champions is even harder. That is what Santiago eHub has quietly done for years.
