SC Esports coach is now one of the hottest topics in Kenyan FC 26 esports after the ambitious Nairobi-based team officially began searching for someone to guide its talented squad to the next level.
The team already boasts some of the country’s biggest names. Tank has reached several major finals this year. Scad has beaten Kenya’s biggest stars on his way to winning tournaments. Ibrah has quietly become one of the most consistent competitors in the country.

Yet, despite all that talent, SC believe there is still one missing piece. A coach.
Why SC Esports Wants a Coach
According to team’ manager Don’s management, the objective is simple: improve the team’s overall gaming level and football IQ. Rather than signing more players, SC wants someone with extensive FIFA and EA SPORTS FC experience to work closely with the squad every week.
The coach will:
- Conduct weekly training sessions.
- Improve players’ tactical awareness and decision-making.
- Help players remain calm under tournament pressure.
- Travel with the team to tournaments to provide guidance and motivation.
- Analyze mistakes and help players correct them.
Interestingly, the position does not currently come with a fixed salary. Instead, the successful candidate will receive performance bonuses depending on the impact they have on the team before a better deal will be arranged.

For SC, success won’t simply be measured by trophies. If the team’s players become more consistent and begin winning more tournaments, then the coaching project will have achieved its goal.

SC Esports’ Unique Recruitment Model
Unlike most Kenyan esports organizations that recruit already established stars, SC built its current squad through competition. Earlier this year, the club organized its annual SC Tournament at Leijona Lifestyle Center on April 5 with one mission – identify the country’s next esports stars. The top three finishers earned professional contracts complete with salaries.
Tank won the tournament and secured the first contract. Lunatic finished second but chose not to join the organization, allowing Ibrah, to receive the opportunity instead. Scad completed the podium in third and also signed for the club.
The squad was later strengthened by Venom, Kile and Davey Maestro, creating one of the deepest FC 26 rosters in Kenya. Today, SC remains the only Kenyan esports organization that consistently hosts tournaments specifically to scout and sign free agents.
The Players Leading SC
Ibrah continues setting the standard
If one player perfectly represents consistency, it is Ibrah. He currently leads the SC FIFA Tournament scoring charts with 89 goals in four tournaments, ahead of Jojo Depay, who has scored 81 goals in just two SC tournaments. His consistency stretches beyond SC competitions.
Ibrah currently sits second on the Football Esports House Kenya Best Athlete of the Year 2025/26 rankings with 62 points, trailing only Lord7, who leads the standings with 76 points. What makes Ibrah’s achievement even more impressive is that he has collected those points despite winning only one tournament all season.
His breakthrough victory finally came at the KTRL.AFRIKA x MKU Esports Tournament, where he lifted the title and walked away with a voucher worth KSh 15,000.
Tank keeps knocking on the door

Tank earned his SC contract after winning the club’s recruitment tournament and has continued proving why he deserved it. Since then he has finished runner-up at:
- Safaricom Hook Tournament
- TITECH Tournament in Naivasha (KSh 3,000)
- Bramz Tournament in Nakuru (KSh 4,000)
He also ranks third on SC’s scoring leaderboard with 80 goals and is currently 16th on the Football Esports House Kenya Best Athlete rankings with 35 points.

Scad shines when the pressure is highest
Scad announced himself to the Kenyan scene by winning the prestigious Safaricom Hook Tournament. Along the way he defeated several top stars, including Shaq, Trex and Lord7 before overcoming Jaffar in the final to claim KSh 10,000.
He currently ranks fourth on the SC goalscoring chart with 75 goals and sits 32nd on the Football Esports House Kenya Best Athlete leaderboard with 16 points.
More Than Just Three Stars
While Tank, Ibrah and Scad are the club’s salaried players, SC’s depth extends much further.
The squad also includes:
- Davey Maestro – Player and club official who ranks ninth in SC tournaments with 54 goals from two appearances.
- Venom – Ranked 12th with 48 goals.
- Kile – One of the club’s additions and another player expected to contribute going forward.
Together they give SC one of Kenya’s strongest FC 26 line-ups.
Why It Matters
SC aren’t looking for a coach because their players lack talent. They’re looking for one because they believe talent alone is no longer enough.
The club already has tournament champions, consistent podium finishers and some of the country’s highest-ranked competitors. Now the focus shifts from finding talent to maximizing it.
