The Haier FC 26 tournament has a champion, and it’s Phoenix Esports star Jesse. After weeks of competition, Jesse emerged victorious in the Haier World Cup Tour Finals held at Thika Road Mall, walking away with the tournament’s biggest prize — a massive 75-inch Haier TV.
The event, organized by Haier in collaboration with Panda Mart Garden City, stood out as one of the biggest brand-backed FC 26 PlayStation tournaments held in Kenya this year, with premium electronics up for grabs instead of the usual cash prizes.

Jesse produced the performance that mattered most to claim the title and the tournament’s top reward. His Phoenix Esports teammate Ado finished as the first runner-up and received a 55-inch Haier TV, while free agent Kora rounded off the podium in third place, earning a 50-inch Haier TV.

Haruun Haruun narrowly missed out on the top three but still left with a Bottom load dispenser after finishing fourth. One of the tournament’s most impressive features was that every participant walked away with something and a Ksh. 5,000 shopping voucher was also given out, ensuring no player walked away empty-handed.
Road to the Finals
Before battling for the title at Thika Road Mall, players first had to earn their place through qualifying events held at four shopping malls across Nairobi.
The qualifiers took place at:
- The Junction Mall – Marlone secured qualification for the finals.
- Thika Road Mall (TRM) – Haruun Haruun booked his place.
- Sarit Centre – Ado and Prince qualified.
- Garden City Mall – Telki, Jesse, Kora and Fox In The Box completed the list of finalists.
With only a handful of players advancing from each venue, the finals brought together some of the strongest FC 26 competitors from across the qualifying rounds. Jesse ultimately emerged as champion, while Ado and Kora completed the podium after an impressive run through the tournament.
Premium Prizes Raise the Stakes
Unlike many local FC 26 tournaments that offer cash prizes, the Haier World Cup Tour rewarded players with premium home appliances.

Why It Matters

The Haier FC 26 tournament is another sign that major brands are increasingly investing in Kenya’s esports scene. For years, competitive FC events have largely been driven by gaming communities. Seeing a global electronics brand organize a tournament with premium prizes shows how much the local scene continues to grow.
Just as importantly, the event gave both established competitors and rising players another platform to showcase their talent in front of the gaming community.
Conclusion
The Haier FC 26 tournament delivered more than just exciting matches. It demonstrated how partnerships between major brands and the gaming community can create memorable competitions while rewarding players with valuable prizes. With Jesse crowned champion, Ado finishing second and Kora completing the podium, the tournament will be remembered as one of Kenya’s standout FC 26 events of the year.
