If you stayed up late last night watching the FC Pro streams, you know your sleep schedule is completely ruined. But honestly, nobody cares. We just witnessed one of the most insane, dramatic nights in virtual football history.
Anders Vejrgang, the Danish prodigy, the guy we’ve all been tracking since his legendary 536-game weekend league streak, finally did it.

Anders Vejrgang is officially your new eChampions League 2026 king.
Let’s be real for a second. Last year was pure heartbreak for the former RBLZ Gaming star. Watching Emre Yilmaz take the crown left a massive point to prove.
This year in Budapest, the pressure inside the HUNGEXPO arena was heavy enough to bend an iron bar. Every single casual player and competitive sweat from Nairobi to London was locked into the screen, waiting to see if he would choke or conquer.
Surviving the Heavyweights
The finals night started with an absolute blockbuster in the quarter-finals. Anders was drawn against Nicolas99fc, a literal household name in the community and a massive favorite to lift the trophy this year. That match was a chess game played at 100 miles per hour, but Anders managed to edge out a nerve-shredding 6-5 victory to keep the dream alive.

Then came the semi-final against SamuGamer—the man who had already shocked the world by knocking out the defending champion, Emre Yilmaz, back in the Manchester brackets.
Samu was playing perfect football and threatened to run away with the ticket to the grand final. By the 78th minute, Anders was staring down the barrel of elimination, trailing 5-4.
But if we know anything about the Dane, it’s that he thrives in the chaos. He stayed completely calm, dialed up his signature suffocating pressure, and turned the entire match on its head. He leveled the score and then, in the 86th minute, tucked away the dramatic winner to secure another wild 6-5 victory.
The Grand Final Rematch: Anders Vejrgang eChampions League 2026
By the time the Grand Final kicked off, the storyline was already perfect. Standing between Anders and football immortality was HHezerS. This wasn’t just a random final; it was a massive domestic rematch from their eSerie A fixture earlier in the season where they routinely battled for Italian dominance.
The grand final didn’t disappoint. It was tight, tactical, and incredibly tense, but Anders showed why his micro-dribbling and defensive reading are considered the absolute meta right now.
He clutched out a 3-2 victory over HHezerS to officially claim the title. When the final whistle blew, the relief on his face said it all. He didn’t just win a trophy; he exorcised last year’s demons in front of a live studio audience. The king finally has his European crown.
