Players with PlayStyles+ in EA Sports FC 27: What Makes PlayStyles+ Important in FC 27?
EA describes PlayStyles as abilities designed to make players feel different on the pitch, while PlayStyles+ provide enhanced versions of those abilities.
That matters because two players with similar ratings can feel completely different in-game.
A player with Finesse Shot+ can be much more dangerous from the edge of the box. A midfielder with Tiki Taka+ can become a nightmare for opponents trying to close down quick passing combinations. Meanwhile, abilities such as Quick Step+, Rapid+ and Technical+ can completely change how dangerous a player feels when attacking space.
But EA is trying to close the gap between PlayStyles and raw attributes in FC 27.
The developers have reduced the impact of several abilities, including Finesse Shot, Technical, Intercept, Rapid, Quick Step, Pinged Pass, Tiki Taka, Jockey, Precision Header and Low Driven.
